Laura Cordova’sthirty year commitment to Asset and Property Management brings prosperity of information and expertise to this facet of the real estate market. Laura’s background is versatile as she has managed (directly & fee) for REIT’s, partnerships and for individual ownership. Portfolio responsibilities have been diverse, as well, including up to 1 million square feet commercial and retail assets and 1,000 multi-family units.
Revenue enhancement strategies are Laura’s strengths through her financial background and wealth of resources. Her “hands on management” style and by preparing and monitoring sophisticated reporting, efficiency, tenant retention and utilization of reliable, competitive, long term relationships with contractors and vendors has contributed to this success.
Laura has also obtained Construction Management opportunities by utilizing her knowledge that was gained throughout the years while supervising various development projects, tenant improvements, rehabs, etc. This includes developing initial specifications for interior remodels, ensuring fair parameters for contractor bids, to overseeing redevelopment of existing assets.
Laura’s commitment to the industry is also reflective of her CPM, ARM, NM Real Estate Broker and Appraisal Apprenticeship designations. She is also an active participant in several local and national affiliations, including the past New Mexico IREM President and numerous board and committee positions throughout the years.
